About Skye…

Skye Stauffer is a New York based actress who has performed in over 15 theatrical productions and short films. Some of Skye’s favorite roles include Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables, Cosette in Les Miserables, Liesl in The Sound of Music, and Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown

Skye attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and graduated from their conservatory certificate program. Through this program, Skye had the pleasure of honing her acting skills with Elaine Petricoff, Phillip George, Brigid Brady, and Gail Dennison. For dance, Skye trained with Casey Colgan, James Kichler, and Oren Korenblum. She further refined her vocal training with Andrea Covais and Lisa Kay Fletcher. Prior to AMDA, Skye learned tap dancing fundamentals from Gracey Tune and received training en pointe with North Texas Dance Arts Academy and Joffrey Ballet School. Some of the masterclasses Skye has participated in were taught by Christy Altomare, Jeremy Jordan, Sierra Boggess, and JJ Niemann. 

Most recently, Skye has been seen in The Argyle Theatre’s production of Finding Nemo and performing Broadway’s Greatest Hits at 54 Below with Scott Siegel. She has also been seen spreading holiday cheer with The Goode Time Carolers. 

Skye Stauffer’s other passions include taekwondo, travel, and her sassy dachshund named Astrid. Skye has been doing taekwondo since she was seven years old. She is currently a certified instructor and fourth degree black belt. She was able to bring her taekwondo experience into her life as a Girl Scout when she developed a Self-Defense and Dating Violence Prevention curriculum for her nationally recognized Girl Scout Gold Award project.
